La pregunta habitual suele ser&#8230; \u00bfvaldr\u00e1 la pena el cambio?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Una situaci\u00f3n de este tipo se est\u00e1 dando en este momento, en el que no hace demasiado tiempo que las l\u00e1mparas led han empezado a tener unos precios relativamente asequibles. Muchas veces nos preguntamos si sustituir las l\u00e1mparas de nuestros hogares, de nuestras calles, de nuestros centros de trabajo&#8230; ser\u00e1 conveniente. La palabra &#8220;conveniente&#8221;, traducida al lenguaje de la Ingenier\u00eda, muy bien se puede sustituir como &#8220;rentable&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Para responder a esta pregunta he realizado esta peque\u00f1a y simple aplicaci\u00f3n, en la que el usuario, tras introducir algunos datos sencillos, podr\u00e1 saber a partir de cu\u00e1nto tiempo de uso ser\u00e1 rentable la sustituci\u00f3n de una l\u00e1mpara convencional por una l\u00e1mpara led.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Para que la sustituci\u00f3n de una tecnolog\u00eda por otra sea efectiva, la tecnolog\u00eda entrante debe satisfacer las mismas necesidades que la saliente, o mejorarlas, en todo caso. Nunca ser\u00e1 admisible una nueva tecnolog\u00eda que sustituya a otra, a costa de empeorar el servicio de la primera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">En el caso que ahora nos ocupa, la sustituci\u00f3n de una l\u00e1mpara convencional por una l\u00e1mpara led no debe hacerse a costa de una p\u00e9rdida de luminosidad. Por esta raz\u00f3n y para hacerse una idea de qu\u00e9 potencia de led sustituye a qu\u00e9 potencia de l\u00e1mpara convencional, para obtener la misma luminosidad, se incluye a continuaci\u00f3n una tabla comparativa de luminosidades (en lm) y potencias consumidas (en W).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">As\u00ed, por ejemplo, una l\u00e1mpara incandescente de 100 W, cuya luminosidad es, aproximadamente, 1300 lm, puede ser sustituida por una l\u00e1mpara led de 18 W, obteni\u00e9ndose de esta \u00faltima la misma luminosidad y consumiendo, como se ve, 82 W menos (100 W &#8211; 18 W).
